Overview & Reviews
For 2003, the manual transmission is no longer available with the V6 engine.
- Roomy cabin, convertible version, reliable Camry genes, smooth engines.
- Expensive, two less doors but little added excitement, no manual offered with V6.

Love my Convertible! - 2003 Toyota Camry Solara
By buckeyegirl - January 11 - 2:00 amI had always wanted a convertible, but I wanted one with a back seat that had some style. I looked at a few, and fell in love with the Camry Solara as soon as I saw it. It is so much fun to drive, and a year later, Im so glad I bought it. Im just sad that they discontinued the model!

My fouteeth toyota - 2003 Toyota Camry Solara
By robedixon - January 3 - 10:00 amTypical of all my Toyotas. Well built. Solid. User friendly. Dealer treated me very well. Had problem with brake rotors right out of the lot. Dealer came and got the car and replaced them without complaint. It is the first time in my purchasing Toyotas I have had a problem within the first 90 days so I am not disappointed.

Mixed review! - 2003 Toyota Camry Solara
By Alyssa - October 1 - 3:25 amI bought my 03 Solara from a private party. Within the ten months I had it, I put 34,000 miles on it. When I quit driving it, it has 237k miles! My car was my daily driver, about 80-100 miles a day from school/work to home. There was a major problem with the front end, and it would shake uncontrollably around 70mph, but I would just cruise at 80 to make the shaking go away. My heater was a LEMON, It took twenty minutes to warm up. BIGGEST PROBLEM was, I had a had on collision with a full size pickup going 65mph. My car was totaled and I walked away with only bruises after spinning 5 times and etc. MY AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. I had a head on collision, I spun, hit things, my front of my car was demolished, yet my airbags DID NOT DEPLOY. Other than that, I actually was amazed at how it sustained the crash! My windshield and back glass shattered and came in the car, and my rearview mirror shattered and flew past me, and the panel that was on my ignition fell off. other than that, the interior looked as if I hadnt even been in a wreck, while the outside was pulverized. I had to put a quart of oil in it a week. Personally, I would not buy one again because we had a lot of maintenance but it was used with high mileage, but if you want something SAFE for a teen or young driver, definitely get a Solara. Gas is amazing. I would be on EMPTY and only pay $25 and have full tank. Im a very short girl (411) and I had virtually no blind spots.

Good Car - 2003 Toyota Camry Solara
By Gary - July 23 - 9:33 pmJust purchased with lots of miles. Car was a 1 owner with lots of TLC. Only complaints so far is the gas pedal sticks, and vibration in the steering wheel when applying the brakes. Overall very nice ride.

My Solara, the little red Ferrari - 2003 Toyota Camry Solara
By Joeg243 - July 11 - 10:00 amThis is my second Solara. My first was a 99 w/ 4cyl and stick(very rare find) in white diamond pearl with cloth oak interior. My 03 is an SLE/v-6 in red flame met. w/ ivory leather and every option available. The V-6 is quick and you would think you were riding in a Lexus if you didnt know that its a Toyota. I also have an "03 Tundra SR5 Access Cab.
